Mintahoe has a lot of options to choose from for food. They had two different divisions under their umbrella for upscale, plated dinners or one for more family style or buffet dinners. We ended up going with a buffet and choosing a mac 'n cheese bar served in martini glasses along with some sandwiches and salad. The performance stations for our "heavy appetizers" were great. Everyone loved the food and service and it was a unique way to have a fun, informal dinner.

Mintahoe was a great company to utilize for our wedding. Our venue was the MN Boat Club on Raspberry Island and we worked with Joy. She was amazing! So helpful and patient and thoughtful. The food was outstanding! We received numerous compliments on the quality of the food and several people told us with passion that this was the best food they ever had at a wedding. Apps and late night snacks were excellent. However, they did not serve us the meal we selected. The food was still good, but we were looking forward to the meals we wanted.
We used them for the bar service. Overall I'd say it was a little expensive, but the service was very good, the bartenders were nice and all went well.
Mintahoe was a GREAT caterer to work with! The staff were SO friendly, helpful, and attentive, and my wedding guests complimented me all night long on how delicious the food was. The prices are comparable, and you CANNOT beat the service! I HIGHLY recommend Mintahoe!
People received food, which is the most important thing. However, our wedding was lost in the process between Catering Managers. Had to confirm multiple things numerous times once we finally had out catering manager and even then things were left out.
I had a fabulous experience with Mintahoe! Elizabeth, our coordinator, was such a doll to work with and went above and beyond to make our day a huge success! She was incredibly sweet and patient, and offered tons of advice and help. I was so impressed that she worked well within our budget (which wasn't big), and never pressured us into spending more than we could afford.
