Today, Mintahoe Catering & Events is the largest family-owned and family-operated catering company in Minnesota. With four bustling catering divisions and nine signature venues, we understand that every event and every client is unique. We used this caterer because our venue required them - the Van Dusen Mansion. We were very pleased with the food quality - several people commented that it was the best wedding food they've had - I'd say they are comparable to a restaurant whereas I usually think of old country buffet when I go to weddings! Great service, was able to meet our needs and went beyond what we wanted. Is pretty expensive and they up charge a lot of little things. But overall, they were wonderful.
Mintahoe Catering and Events worked with the Van Dusen Mansion to cater our wedding on 4/13. There was some mix ups with minor things, but overall nobody could tell because we were so well taken care of! All of our guests told us that the food was delicious, and much better than any other catered wedding they had been to. We worked with Elizabeth and her fun and bubbly personality was exactly what we wanted! Thanks Mintahoe Catering!
Amazing food! All my guest raved for days about the food at our wedding! We did the performance stations! Would totally recommend them to anyone for any occasion!
Great food, great customer service. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is our cake was cut before dinner was served and it dried out by the time it was served.
Mintahoe has a lot of options to choose from for food. They had two different divisions under their umbrella for upscale, plated dinners or one for more family style or buffet dinners. We ended up going with a buffet and choosing a mac 'n cheese bar served in martini glasses along with some sandwiches and salad. The performance stations for our "heavy appetizers" were great. Everyone loved the food and service and it was a unique way to have a fun, informal dinner.

Mintahoe was a great company to utilize for our wedding. Our venue was the MN Boat Club on Raspberry Island and we worked with Joy. She was amazing! So helpful and patient and thoughtful. The food was outstanding! We received numerous compliments on the quality of the food and several people told us with passion that this was the best food they ever had at a wedding.
