Get directionsYou be the judge- Took our dog here because he was shaking, breathing heavy and peeing/pooping in the house when he was fully potty trained. I waited 30 mins to get a room, another hour to be seen. Our dog peed on the floor while I waited in the room. I explained all the symptoms when the vet finally came in and also that he was licking his pee. The doctor immediately said he thought it was either a mass or something with his back and we had to do an x ray but we would know that night what the issue was. The x ray and... read more
They also forgot one of the staples when removing them two weeks after the surgery. So now we have to go back in from Lawrence for one staple.
This place is absolutely horrendous! There is absolutely no communication what so ever. Their numerous signs of personal conduct for pet owners is likely due to the poor quality of care, extremely lack of communication and excessive time it takes to be seen, examined, and treated. This place is worse than a human ER. We got here, were put in a room for 45 mins, and now my dog has been in the back for over an hour. No one has communicated anything to me about what is going on with my dog. This will be the last time I ever ent... read more
Dog owners DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS here. Dr. Richards suggested we euthanize our dog few months back. When we brought our dog in on the weekend for a wheezing/cough, we explained to the vet that we currently have our dog on medicine for some respitory issues and we don't think we should euthonize our dog. We just had X-rays done that week. We sat in the room and discussed with Dr Richards like 5 feet from us. We decided that we were going to keep our dog on the ventilator. We're talking in full volume and stop to look at ... read more
This was our beloved family member "BLUE". Our experience here was heart wrenching, disappointing, upsetting and tragic. Our boy had an obstruction and blue pearl did not have a surgeon on hand so they called mission who said they did so we rushed him there and arrived at midnight Saturday. They wanted to observe him first.... The truth was they did not have a surgeon there to help him. We trusted them and left him for them to care for him. At noon we will still had heard nothing so we went to pick him up and wait till t... read more
First off you better ask for a quote before you allow them to do anything to your pet. Second off the little girl that's a receptionist is as good as they come. The worst thing from the Rona is the entitled pos that people like her have become. Yelled at me to put a mask on because I could kill someone. Laughed at her and didn't put it on because well it's been proven to be useless. Then the vet comes out without his on. Rules for thee but not for me I guess. I got stuck with a $3700 bill because they're a scam artist. It's ... read more
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. I brought my dog in as he was acting bizarre and on arrival ended up having a fever. I was accused of my dog getting into meth. He was hospitalized overnight and treated as an ingestion and discharged home. The same night I brought him back in for the same behavior. He had a fever of 106 and again I was questioned about having meth in my house. He was hospitalized for 2 days and discharged home. That night I took him to a different ER and found out that his behavior was because of a brain tumor and... read more
Took my dog for an open wound that wouldn't heal, it was partly my fault. Got there at 8pm ,sat in a room for 3 hours to be seen . When the doctor finally came to talk for 10 min over the wound ,doctor explained that they were going to stitch the wound and see if It will heal , I ask the doctor how long more would it be ,she responded it wouldn't be longer. 2 hours later finally a nurse came to treat my dog . When They told me that I was ready to go home at 1am , I notice that my dog still had an open wound. I ask the nurse... read more
I took my sick dog here on a Saturday at the recommendation of my regular vet. We immediately got put in a room and were told the vet would be in to see us in twenty minutes. We were then completely ignored for two hours. We visited the front desk several times to see when a vet would be able to come see our very sick dog and we were either rudely spoken to or straight up ignored. We ended up walking out after the two hour mark in frustration. The icing on top of the cake was the front desk receptionist who chased us out of ... read more
