I was out of town, came home on sunday and my lab mix would not stop vomiting. Took him to blue pearl Sunday and they provided good service but did give me expensive bill, and told me if my lab was still having issues to take him to my regular vet. Monday he was still having issues, took him to long vet clinic and after a few hours they told me my lab was having seizures and i needed to take him to an overnight vet and said i could take him to blue pearl or vca. I brought him to vca and he has having a seizure as i carrie... read more

I can not believe some of the bad, bad reviews i read. I had such a great experience at VCA, and this is not my first go around. i had another soulmate doxie named Kibbles and every time my vet gave him a vaccine he swelled bigger than 2 basketballs and he was the runt of the litter and very small. we rushed him years and year ago at least 10 years or more to VCA and they always saved him in the nick of time and worked with us with price. i wish my doxiie's could live forever but by golly with VCA hospita saved my Kibbl... read more

My local vet sent us there as my dog had high liver enzymes. I don't mind driving 2 1/2 hours for such loving, compassionate people to care for my baby boy. Yes it can be expensive if there is a major surgery involved, but wouldn't you spend whatever you had to on your child? My baby boy is my only child! I'm very happy with the Dr's there and their staff.

My coonhound Ellie Mae somehow opened a bottle of Aleve and ate several. Luckily, I caught it quickly and rushed to her the hospital late on a Friday night. Absolutely felt from the initial emergency to the recovery Ellie had the best care and the staff all made me feel like she was receiving the best care. Happy it turned out okay - amazing place to take your animal for an emergency! Thank you Dr Boyle, Dr Wall and all the techs who gave Ellie the best treatment possible and gave her some love too :)

A year ago they saved our precious LAB, Neuman - emergency surgery for inverted stomach in the middle of the night. Usually dogs do not survive this. He is happy, healthy and we are blessed. Except for the expense - woof - it was a GREAT experience.

It's very easy to take the health of our animals for granted. It's very frustrating and concerning when they can't communicate to you when there's something wrong. I took my cat to Mission MedVet after a serious prognosis from my regular vet (and terrible customer service/follow up/urgency) for answers. Dr. Robin Wall went above and beyond to find answers and to get my kitty better. I highly recommend Mission MedVet for all animals. This emergency care and facility is top notch.

Nobody wants to use an Emergency Vet, we don't want to see our pets so uncomfortable that there's no time to schedule them with their regular vets or have to wait until their regular vet is open which is exactly what happened to me. Upon coming home at 1:30am I had discovered that one of my dogs had broken out of his kennel and bit my other dog, he was bleeding and obviously in pain. I gave him some antibiotics and decided to see how he was in the morning, I had a sleepless night continuously checking on him, he was breathin... read more

Our 10 year old dog Riley began acting strangely in late February He had been treated at VCA Mission very successfully about two years previously for a mast cell tumor by Drs. Grigsby and Wilson. We chose to take Riley back to VCA Mission and were fortunate to be able to see Dr. Grigsby. An abdominal ultrasound revealed that Riley was hemorrhaging from his spleen. Dr. Grigsby thoroughly and compassionately explained the condition and the potential causes, including a significant chance the cause was cancer. We had the o... read more

A few days after I posted this review, the hospital director called me to apologize. She said she had looked over my file and everything that I had written was accurate. She said that everything was handled very poorly and that she would like to give me a refund. She refunded the full amount of the visit, minus the cost of the medication. I certainly did not expect this! I appreciate that this hospital took the time to find my file and call me. And of course I certainly appreciate the refund. The manager explained tha... read more
