Been a loyal member for 6+ years and for the most part have been happy. Recently saw my monthly charge increase to 124/ mos., a 48% increase for my wife and I. Significant increase with no change in service and see multiple new member promotions offering 0. Per month deals along with free childcare for 2 months. I would have liked a loyalty promotion for long time members vs. absorbing the marketing cost for new member promotions. LOVE this gym! My husband and I have been members for over a year. The staff is super friendly, the cardio machines are always in good condition, yoga classes are awesome and it's the cleanest gym we've ever been too! Keep up the great work!

I just had the worst experience with them, they signed my wife up under a month to month plan but did not communicate that this plan was going to keep charging her card every month. So she stopped going after her 1 month was up cause we couldn't afford to pay for the next month, but did not realize that she had to go in and sign a paper to cancel or they where gonna keep charging her every month until she did. Great place to work out !! Staff is amazing. Gym is always clean and equipment is in great working order. I highly recommend you working out here. The yoga classes are good and my kids love the child care.

This is my most favorite gym that I've ever belonged to. I've been a member here since they opened over ten plus years ago. The staff is great. The childcare is awesome. I've also made some wonderful friends through the other gym members.

Best gym in town! Not only is the price unbeatable but the perks of this gym are amazing! This is also the cleanest gym I've ever been to and the people here are so friendly. I've found my forever gym!!!

Mountainside on Happy Valley and Lake Pleasant is one of the best places to train. The equipment in most all gyms, rather EOS or LA Fitness or Mountainside, is similar. What separates Mountainside is the service and the staff. On several occasions I have alerted staff that a piece of equipment wasn't working properly and within a day or two it is fixed. The bathrooms and locker rooms are always clean. Most importantly, however, is the staff makes me feel like I am coming home when I enter the facility. They always say, "Hi" ... read more

Stay far away! I was a member for about a year and finally had enough and canceled my membership. First, more often than not the cardio equipment is not functioning properly (from the TVs not working to the belts on the treadmill making constant tumping noises). Second, as someone who also weight trains, good luck getting ANY seat in the free weight section. What's even more frustrating is that they only have 1 leg press and 1 squat press. I write this review as I am on one of Mountainside fitness treadmills. If you are looking for a new gym or looking to go to one of the local MSF then reconsider. I've been going to this location for 2 years now and it's a slow and steady decline. MANY machines are out of order, TVs on the cardio equipment either don't work or shut off in the middle of a work out. Weight numbers are so worn on the machines you cannot read them.
