My God fix the dang men's bathroom! Smells like steamy urine ALL THE TIME. been like that since I joined a couple of months ago and someone else stated that it's been like that forever. I honestly would not have joined had I known. It's unbearable. Stay away unless you really love the smell of a hot smelly unflushed toilet.

I haven't really found anything to not like about this gym. Yes it does get crowded especially in the New Year, but what gym doesn't? I love all the classes I have attended, especially flow yoga and peak performance. The instructors are amazing! Wait, there is something that can be improved on...when in a yoga class some cycle/group class instructors are over enthusiastic and bump their music a little too loud. Great staff that are always available to help. Some machines do break but that's life. My kids love going and that helps with motivation. Love it here.

Pros- towels, clean gym, lots of equipment, friendly greeters/front desk assistants, convenient location Cons- by the time you find someone for a smoothie you forget why you were even standing there. weekend hours-also no sound proof walls between classes. Cant do yoga without the bass from zumba or spin vibrating the floors. Poorly designed. Need sound barriers or to turn down bass or to stagger classes. Difficult to find parking. We have been members at this location for over 8 years. Each time we have interacted with the manager, Danielle Jarrett, her attitude, lack of professionalism and inability to effectively respond to each situation is appalling. She is not interested in keeping loyal members and makes her position very clear. With the high annual membership cost PLUS an additional and unnecessary "enhancement fee", it would make sense to have a manager who can listen and solve problems. I am always running around the town and pop in to which ever location is nearest me at the time. I have to say my favorite location is arrowhead on 101 and 75 ave. All the locations have stellar costumer service and clean facilities. In particular there is an employee maybe Lindsey? She's blonde and seems to appear as a manager in the Mkids. Stay far, far away. Not only is it crowded and the equipment frequently broken, but management is horrible. I was threatened with assault by a member and the "Assistant Manager", Bekah, didn't even ask him to leave despite multiple complaints. I left several voicemails with the VP of Operations who never saw fit to get back to me. I could not possibly be any more upset with the entire organization; from the "Assistant Manager" to the VP, there wasn't anyone who even made an effort to make things right. I love that Mountainside Fitness offers massage!! It's so easy to book an appointment. I received a massage from Misty and I was in real bad shape, I had semi tore my bicep and had a lot of strained muscles in my arm preventing me to straighten it. Misty is very knowledgeable of the body and helped me get my range of motion back, she got all the knots out in a relaxing way so I didn't feel too much pain. Always insanely busy. Felt like I had to fight for equipment. Lots of meatheads. Lots of "personal trainer" - client pairs. Would not do a long term membership here.
