Members service does not properly educate you on what is needed to cancel membership with active and fit and refusing to refund my money for the daycare they continue to charge me even though I don't have a active membership
A very enjoyable place to go work out either morning or night, employees are very nice here and personal trainers are great and know there stuff

been with mountainside for 14 years and love it. my kids started as babies in the childcare and now are out with us on the floor, great for the whole family.
Been a member at this location since it opened. They've always had very friendly staff, and it's a clean facility with relatively modern equipment. Those are certainly important factors, but in the end, most people want to go, do their workout in a time effective way, and leave. That said, they don't have enough leg equipment, when equipment (in general) breaks & needs repair, it takes an extraordinary amount of time to have it repaired, and the amount of people that tie up equipment with their personal belongings while they... read more
This place is getting one star for this reason alone, I was a member 7 years ago at Mountainside. I left because of how expensive it was getting for a cheaper and competing gym EOS. Now that EOS is booming and I can't take the amount of people there I canceled my gym membership after being with them for 4 1/2 years. I was looking for a new membership at Mountainside. Great facility to work out at. The front desk is always friendly, the facility is clean and in good repair.
The childcare situation really needs to be addressed. They are often overrun with children with not enough staff. During these high times they should pull staff from other parts of the gym to meet state requirements. Time and time again they don't check out the children when you pick them up. They are supposed to scan their stickers before releasing them but they don't. They say they remember who the parents are but that's not a good reason to ignore checking them out IMO. Had major problems with my account. I pay every month for my family and they say I need my son wasn't on the account even though he's been in a bunch of times. They wanted me to add him as a guest and I said he's on the account. Finally talked to the manager who argued about how long I had to wait said I needed to come back again and wait again to update my son's info and bring in his birth certificate.
