So...worked out tonight and thought wow the music is really loud that Mountainside plays overhead. Looking around I think 9 out of 10 people are wearing their own ear buds or head phones. So I asked the kid as I was leaving if they can turn it down and he says no and then says people complain about it all the time.

Love this location and the all of the amenities it provides! The daycare is a great added service to membership as well. The gym can get busy at peak times in the morning and early evening but other that that there is plenty of downtime throughout the rest of the day. I currently use their personal training services as well and am extremely satisfied. My trainer Jacqueline is AMAZING! She really knows how to customize the works out for me and what I need. I wake up and hit the gym every morning when they open. After my workout I like to relax in the steam room before I head to work. Recently it has been not working until the time I have to leave. I emailed the gym about my issue and within 24 hours I received an email and a phone call from the manager. Danielle went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I will alway recommend this facility to everyone who enjoys great customer service and a great place to work out. Awesome job!!!

The location is really nice but - The equipment is always broken! They really need to keep up on maintenance of the equipment.

Fantastic gym!! Super classes, great cardio equipment. Nice front desk staff. Clean, fresh towels. Clean facility! The instructors are great. Sadly, they have cancelled a class I loved, but it happens. The bathrooms are big and clean and don't smell like sweat or dirty feet, which is a plus! The dance floor at some locations is nice, while others are laid directly on the cement and super suck and hurt when you use them. Over all we love Mountainside!

I've been a member for 5 years. In the last year, the gym is very hot inside. I've asked management to look into the temperature settings but they are unresponsive. Its hard to run in the cardio area when it's so hot. Also, the music in the club is loud. One day, it's tolerable. Next day loud. Not a pleasant experience working out.

Absolutely love this place had a great time me and my family we love the atmosphere of this gym everything about it is awesome except for the fact that it's so high priced I wish there is a swimming pool but it is what it is would recommend to everybody in the area

My family loves this gym. It has so many amenities and is super clean. They keep the equipment maintained well, and they continually update their gym with new equipment to give their members a good variety. My kids love the childcare there. One of the most important features to me is a good variety and offering of classes. They have a TON of good classes and at different times so it's nice and convenient to fit into my family's busy and constantly-changing schedule. Mountainside as a gym and equipment available is top notch compared to others. Especially their functional fitness areas. Now for the negative part. Child care can be awful. Some women can't be trusted with babies and toddlers. There is a specific baby area where they should be. On multiple occasions we have found our baby crawling in the big kid area. We have repeatedly reminded them not to let our boy over there. He was hit in the face with a ball from a big kid. We found him getting his fingers stepped on by an older kid ... read more
