Great gym to work out at! Well stocked fitness cafe with delicious protein shakes and drinks.
Cool business, super friendly ppl. Staff is amazing, super clean gym. The locker room is super clean
It's got everything I need, never really have a problem finding a machine or station. Only problem I'd have is the managers. They seem to give me an attitude the 2 times I've ever talked to them. The rest of the staff is great, just the ladies working at the desk have always been a little short and almost annoyed with me. Even with simple questions.
We are a big family and I called and utilized their "text" feature on the website - 2 WEEKS AGO! Have heard nothing back about signing up for the family plan. If this is not a sign, I don't know what else is. We signed up with another gym that contacted us back in 25 minutes. Great experience. If Mountainside treats non customers like this, can you image the urgency you would get after handing over your money?!
Additional concerns at this location: There are poop stains in the men's bathroom (multiple toilets) that have been there for several days. There was a poop smear near the toilet paper roll as well. The AC doesn't seem to be working or the owner is a cheap-o because it is constantly hot on the floor and the classroom (and no, that's not the pre-workout kicking in).
You would think with the cost of the membership it would weed out the trashy members, but no, it doesn't. This location desperately needs a dress code policy. Sorry, but I don't want to catch whatever STD you women have simply bc your slutty shorts legitimately expose your cheeks and you fail to sanitize everything you sit on. Dress code isn't just for the purpose of modesty but for sanitary purposes. The desperate female members here just have no clue what they're spreading to other members and its disgusting.
I am truly disappointed with mountainside fitness not the gym, but their program. I joined them a few years ago, and I respected the CEO for what he was trying to do with the government. I find out if I want to cancel my membership. I gotta go through this you're ready. 1) coming into the club or any club and we needed it in writing. I'm out of the country. I stopped going during covid and my credit card number changed. When I went to go back they told me I could start from scratch and just give them a new credit card number but when I went to swipe it there was a charge of almost $400 bucks. Most of that was charges for the defunct credit card being declined. I said I did not agree to that. It was not what I was told on the phone. DO NOT let that charge go through.
