Mountainside is easily one of the best gyms in AZ. It's never busy and the machines cater to very serious lifters but they also have a wide assortment of cardio machines, basketball courts and boxing equipment. Seriously I could not recommend this gym more. They are constantly adding new equipment and replacing old stuff. They just went though a full renovation of the locker rooms and it looks great. I LOVE how they are constantly improving the gym. The staff are very nice and are always helpful. I would recommend this place... read more

I have been working out at Mountainside for almost exactly a year. Hannah Winterrose has changed my life! She is not only a great and knowledgeable trainer. She is kind, encouraging, and supportive. She helped me dial in my workouts and I continue to get stronger every week. For the last 5+ years I have had severe hip pain and her attention to this has been the best thing I could ask for. My hip pain is nearly gone and I continue to increase mobility and get stronger. My balance has also come a long way! Shout out to Hannah.... read more

I've been to lots of gyms. i have had multiple memberships at a time. But queen creek mountainside is home. Both mangers are amazing make feel like I belong. I feel the tv listen to my needs and wants in a gym. i walk in Greg welcomed you open arms and makes sure everyone is noticed and welcome. Alli makes me feel same. Greg and Allie both patrol the floor keeping things clean and organized. They listen and talk to everyone. This is a gym there rules that need to be followed for safety and cleanliness. This is a difficult su... read more

Can't say enough great things about the staff at Mountainside, Queen Creek. Having lifted weights for thirty years, I didn't think the personal training staff would be able to show me much. From Chris, to Hannah, Greg, Mike and anyone else who has spent time training me, I've learned so much. More than that, these people have become friends. Some nights are spent talking about life with Chris, others are spent laughing with Greg or Hannah. Overall, can't recommend this place enough. 10/10.

I really like all the mountainside fitness gyms but at the queen creek location a lot of the staff park in the handicap spots which I feel is not right. The manager Greg parks his black Mercedes everyday in the first spot. He has a handicap hanger which I assume is his mothers/grandmothers etc. He is a nice guy but come on!! You are a physically fit, athletic trainer and a manager. You speed walk all around the gym the whole time you are there. I know you are not handicap. Set an example for others, your team and yourself! U... read more

I have been a member of Mountainside Fitness for approximately 20 years. For around the last seven years, a trainer named Courtney taught Peak Performance. She was an amazing trainer--so amazing that I remained a member just so I could take her classes. Unfortunately, she quit because the trainer manager doesn't know how to treat people respectfully. My husband, my daughter, and I will be canceling our memberships.

So, 2024 started like a plot twist for me but I decided that perhaps I needed to treat it more as wake-up call, not a poorly written storyline, that's where Mountainside comes into the frame. Imagine this, on Sunday I went in the gym app with a very funky mindset determine to claim a spot in the yin yoga class so I could head to gym and do something different, focusing on wellbeing & breath. I thankfully noticed I was waitlisted because had I shown up I would be utterly embarrassed (on my mind) since I think i had signed up ... read more
