I joined Mountainside Fitness about 3 months ago, I was signed up by Megan and after her walk through she had me sold without being pushy like other gyms I have tried. Mountainside offers many classes which is a big part of my work out experience and every instructor has been more than great. The front desk has already learned my name and always greats me as I walk in the door (which still always surprises me).. They have towel service in the locker rooms and weight floor + steam/sauna. Just started going to this gym. It seems pretty clean and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I forgot my iPhone on the treadmill and only had to call the front desk for a team member to go retrieve it for me and keep it safe for pick up. I was very embarrassed but grateful. Thanks M Fitness!

Pros - Unpretentious; staff is friendly and not pushy; the design and layout are perfect; clean; bright; lots of free weights. Cons - Some of the machines need updating and/or maintaining (e.g., back supports on leg presses are quite worn); the white hand towels are yellow and need replacing. I would have given 5 stars but the two negatives I listed really need attention.

I am trying out this gym maybe I'll join maybe not. The cycling class today was great, the staff in the front couldn't be bothered to show me around, just pointed when I asked where things were. Fortunately I'm not new to gyms and found what I needed.

A snowbird geezer here. Traveled five states and hit gyms instead of bars. Hair still turned white but chest still measures 10" larger than belt. Looked at half dozen gym options but immediately liked this gym though it is a tad more distant. Patrons seem to be getting good results. This gym looks to have more young women than most other places i checked out. Women are a good barometer for gym cleanliness and tidiness; guys less so. I love the towel service. I've been to four mountainside fitness locations and this one is my favorite. They may not have the brand new fancy machines, but they have the best staff, the best steam room, the best kid play place, and the best feel. Basically what I'm saying is the people who come here are real and not trying to compete in a fashion show. And basically what I'm saying is that this place is better than fancy machines. Love it because i can bring my kids. While I work out they climb the rock wall or I can watch them on the viewing monitors they have posted throughout the gym. LOVE THE PLACE!

I joined Mountainside Fitness excited by the story. Friendly staff. Smiles. Free towels. Community first. That story falls apart fast. I hopped on a Precor treadmill and tried to connect my iPhone. No luck. I asked staff on the floor if there was an app. No one knew. I went home and did a quick Google search. Precor uses the Preva app. Downloaded it. The app immediately asked for a club code.
