Policy consistency or employees need to be on same page. I have been here since December and have had no problem using my father's guest pass since I'm not from the area. They let me know I couldn't use the gym without him being present. My father called and still would barely let me in. Do I have to go workout with my father now at the same time? A guest should be allowed to workout at whatever time and ya'll need to figure out a different system to verify. Next time I'll bring in my birth certificate. I've been using his g... read more

This location is my absolute favorite to work out at. I love that Mountainside offers classes and also has a sauna and steam room. The staff are all so nice and helpful, especially in the childcare. Ana and her entire crew work so well with all the kids and I always know I can enjoy my workout without worrying about my littles. They soothe my 9 month old and let me enjoy some child-free time and my toddler loves going in to play, bounce, color, watch a movie and make friends. Staff is so nice! Lincoln was helpful. Locked rooms are updated and smell great! Machines are kept up really nicely and they have a lot of machines that other gyms don't have.

Stephanie made me the BEST PB2 I ever had just now. Ever since they became $9+ I dropped getting them but since they're free I got one. I could tell she had been making them all day but she made it with such enthusiasm that I had to write this review. I might even spend $9 next time just so she can make it! Maybe.

I started personal training under Vincent for postpartum weight loss and lost ~10 pounds in just 4 weeks! I had struggled to do it before with others. ANOTHER UPDATE from Whitney??? Yes friends, I needed to update. I have had a lot of issues with Mountainside over the years. They have been so hit and miss. I keep going back because you can't beat under $100 for a family membership with childcare AND awesome classes. This most recent time that I've joined it has been so much better than in the past. I have been coming to this location for 15+ years! I love the instructors and love the classes that they offer. They are always updating the classes they offer to keep it fresh. I use child care regularly, and the staff is wonderful with my kiddos. Highly recommend Mountainside!
