W gym, always nice workers who greet you when you walk in and scan your bar code, over all always a positive experience. No one is judgy it's very good environment. Lots of free weights too

The AC is set at 73, for a gym...this is a bit too warm. I feel 68-70 is appropriate. What do others think? Historically, I've been comfortable here but recently it's very uncomfortable working out here. My only other complaint is that there are only three treadmills with push button speed change. This is important for HIiT and interval training. These treadmills are in high demand so a couple more would be nice. Otherwise, great atmosphere. I started going to mountainside back in June. I wanted to work with a trainer because it would create accountability to go! It's been about 5 months and I have met all of the goals I originally set for myself plus more. I train with Ethan E and he is very knowledgeable and professional. I actually enjoy going to the gym now and like that my trainer has taught me so many skills so that I can replicate them when I go on days outside of my set training schedule. Mountainside is absolutely the best fitness club we've held a membership with in 30 years! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The club is always clean and equipment maintained in like-new condition. Their equipment-cleaning regimen is the most sanitized I've ever seen! And the value is exceptional. I recommend Mountainside Fitness enthusiastically!

What can I say about this gym!? I can only leave positive feedback in all respects! This location at Alma school and germann is amazing. From warm greetings from friendly and knowledgeable staff as soon as you walk in.. into a well lit, well ventilated and air conditioned gym. Clean rooms with clean equipment that are well stocked with plates and working properly. The music through out the mountain ice den is always so loud you can't have a conversation or listen to your own music snd no one in charge will do anything to lower the music; several members complain regularly but to no avail.

Jill, my personal trainer is the main reason why I am going to mountainside. I've had many different personal trainers throughout the years but she is by far the best. She listened to my concerns during our first session and she has focused on exactly what matters most to me. All the other trainers were on the one size fits all training program. I was a member in 2019 (chandler location). Basically this gym is ok. It seemed clean to me every time we went so no complains there. Its a bit pricey for what you get. At that price, I would have expected a pool. It's a little on the smaller side as well. The equipment was avg to good. I did notice that there was at least one treadmill down every time we went.
