Ive been paying into my savings account with NDR for about a year and they have been completely unprofessional. So far they have COST me $1900 by not acting on a really amazing settlement offer from one of my creditors until it was too late and I was sued by the bank only to have them settle for $1700 more than original offer and after hiring one of NDRs attorneys for $200 to answer a summons that they then ignored. Dont do it. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I thought that the BBB A+ rating made it a safe m... read more

Its a scam. They pay themselves before creditors! The rates are outrageous. Work with your creditors instead! I paid them **** to 600 they paid my creditors.

Debt Relief totally ruined my credit. I have a health disorder and they took advantage of me. I repeated that I do not understand all the long contract.

Basically stole money and I ended up having to settle accounts on my own! If I could give zero stars I would!

I was in this program for over a year. They told me that my price would never go up, yet it did. I was paying almost a $1000 every two weeks for almost a year! With almost a dozen accounts outstanding, NDR worked on just a few. They had one of my credit unions in the account yet never told me that I had been sent to collections. As a matter of fact, more then 2/3 of my account hadn't even been CONTACTED after 14 months of being in the program. After raising my bi-weekly payment up another $100, the person I was speaking with... read more

Read the fine print! I am a retired grandmother raising an 11-year-old granddaughter. During the pandemic I was using my credit cards to eat and live basically. Before the pandemic I was not in debt and did not owe any creditors. After signing with this company, I paid over $4,500 to them in fees within 10 months, and they only paid $400 to one credit card co. They get their fees before you even come close to paying your creditors off. And they reel you in by being very courteous and appear knowledgeable about the company. M... read more

I was given quite a bit of information when I started the program and it seemed to be promising. However, I was told that they take a fee once a settlement for an account has been reached. I have 4 accounts to be closed upon negotiating a settlement. When I checked my portal, I dont have the exact dollar amount put into my dedicated account. Ive put in 250 and only see 188. This does not equate. I will be cancelling my program with them, as I feel I may do this faster - since I could have had 250 to pay a smaller account off... read more

I gave them a call for help. I was told they could help but we needed to schedule another appointment. We scheduled the appointment. They called and went over information with me. After doing all that I was told that they could not help me because I did not have $7500 in debt and my credit rating was too low. Why should it matter if they are to help relieve your debt.

Business response:

Hi ****,Thank you for reaching out. We understand that getting out of debt can be very stressful. National Debt Relief is a debt settlement company. We have a minimum debt requirement to qualify because there can be tax and credit implications that come with debt settlement. These requirements are for your best interest because there could be better options for you. We advise that you research alternate options for debt relief since you do not meet the requirements for our settlement program. We wish you the best of luck and... read more

I finally decided to just opt out of the program and file bankruptcy. My credit went to c*** and would be that way for at least the next couple of years because of this program. Not only that, but when I went to opt out and asked about anything I deposited being refunded to me, I was told that not only will I NOT receive a refund, but I had an outstanding balance of $291 due to their 25% settlement fees. They offered to reduce the outstanding balance to $107 with a $53 payment plan for the next two months. Ive made deposits ... read more
