We have taken several of our pets to this place over the past several years. At one point we spent $6,000 on a pet that ended up passing away. I guess my biggest problem is the charges in the fees. I remember at one time it was only $85 to have the dr. Look at the pet and now it's $145! Everyone is out there everybody take care of their pets but how in God's name can places like this justify their prices when it comes to seeking help with a pet. The prices are outrageous but they get away with it because they know people are... read more

Business response:

Mrs. Walden-Shively, thank you for speaking with our managing Doctor on the phone. We value your feedback and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. We always try to balance the cost of our care with appropriate medical treatment for every emergency. While we are limited on our ability to significantly lower the cost of emergency services, the compassion and commitment to your pet's care will always be available. As discussed, we offered to recheck Gizmo if you have any more concerns. Given that he seems to be ... read more

We had a really horrible experience with this place. We took our dog there after hours after he had broken his leg from a car accident. They refused to treat his leg so we could take him home, loaded him up on drugs where he was shaking and then refused to allow us to take our dog home and forced my husband into agreeing to put the dog to sleep even though he was visibly functional and attentive aside from his broken leg. They then charged us close to $300 before they would allow us to leave with our dead dog after not do... read more

It started out well. They took us straight in. First they explained that it would cost $149.00 to have the doctor examine him and if they did anything else it would be more. The assistant came and looked at our dog, took some ear samples and said the doctor would be in in a few minutes . The doctor comes and tells us she will need to take our dog in the back to examine him. What? Why? We ask. She says so he can be muzzled and she would have help to hold him. What? We can help you hold him, if it is needed. Everywhere el... read more

Business response:

Alethea, we are very sorry to hear about your recent experience. Not only are we always trying to improve our client service but we often pride ourselves on being able to manage emergency cases faster than our human emergency hospitals. I appreciate you speaking on the phone with our management team regarding your visit. Your feedback was very valuable and I promise you we will continue to lower our wait times and improve our client service. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to demonstrate this in the future.

Took my Maltese in Sunday morning due to chronic ear infections to get her started on meds before it got worse. The techs were very nice and listened to me. When the vet Dr. Matthews came in I was less than impressed. He barely looked at my dog and when he tried to touch her ear she yelped and growled because it hurt and was insistent she was going to bite "his finger off" so he didn't even try to actually look at her again. The techs actually handled her and saw she would growl and yelp but she meant no harm. Dr. Matthews... read more

I am HIGHLY unsatisfied with the services this place offers (or should I say refuses to offer unless u have $) I have FIVE cats suffering tonight while myself and my 2 daughters sit up by their sides while they have seizures and other reactions to the flea treatment we did yesterday afternoon. I can not believe that a place that is SUPPOSE to be there for our furbabies in time of need refuses to help unless u pay up front!! This is just ridiculous!

Wow. The vet was amazing when we finally got to see her. But wrongly overpriced with an incredibly long wait.
