Just like previous review...came in for oil change tried to use synthetic oil (more expensive) not requested; charges $46. To change "badly needed dirty power steering fluid"...1 pint = $ 46.. Totally swindled...recommend stay very clear of this place. Not reputable and carry only less expensive off brands; no premium oil. Also had my transmission fluid changed after this in Las Vegas NM...they also showed the power steering fluid was "dirty" and in their opinion had not been flushed. So there you have added info Oil Stop.

Fast, affordable and helpful. We came in for a coolant flush, but the gentleman checked out coolant and explained we just needed to drain and refill.
Excellent service. No hassle, stay in your car while they do the work. Prices up front. No pressure on adding other services. Uses $10 coupon from Yelp from my phone. They offer water, coffee or soda for free while they do their work.
I started getting my cars washed at Oilstop about 7 years ago, as it was much faster than where I took my cars before. Their quality was also excellent. This is definitely no longer the case. I was in line this morning 10 minutes before the 8:00 am opening. No problem with that, as there were others who had the same need as mine.....get there early to avoid the lines. The car wash was great! The oil stop completely swindled me. They charged me an extra $25 to remove some phantom plate to do the oil change which was complete crap. I soooooo wish I had driven away when those mechanics pulled that trick. I CANNOT recommend this business at all. I could've gone to the dealership (which charges an arm and a leg) and paid $30 less. However, your vehicle has what's called a "Skid Plate", a protective covering for the bottom of your vehicle, that has to be removed in order to service your engine oil. This place is GREAT!! I was amazed at the difference in service I experienced here versus other oil change facilities, not only in Santa Fe, but anywhere. First of all the staff who helped me (Alan and Ben) were knowledgeable and not just trying to sell me on different service options. Other oil change facilities it feels like being on "Lets Make a Deal" with Monte Hall -- "Do you want X", or "Do you want Y". Instead, Alan and Ben explained my options, the cost, and the trade-offs. Generally the work here is better than any of the other places on town Last time my wallet disappeared from the glove compartment so check your car carefully before you leave
