Absolutely horrible. I have been extremely frustrated with veterinarians lately and originally left Overland Veterinary Clinic to try out Modern Animal. Had an even worse experience there and after Overland reopened after flooding, etc., had a good experience with the new managing vet Dr. Sylvia Drekic when we saw her back in April. My pittie mix has been bleeding from his eyes for a few weeks, which is very concerning. Made a new patient appointment for my pup. Completed the paperwork ahead of time and arrived 15 min early as requested. Finally left 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time as I a) never received an update as to the delay; b) never saw or spoke to the vet; and c) never even left the waiting room. So all in all, we were waiting in the waiting room for our appointment for 45 minutes without ever receiving an update and without ever having our scheduled appointment. This used to be an excellent clinic but no longer. My sister trapped a stray cat and couldn't find a spay/neuter clinic that could take it quickly. She called Overland Vet and explained the situation, she was told they could do it and to bring the cat in. When she arrived she was rudely told they weren't a clinic and didn't know why someone would tell her to come in. She was finally told they would do the procedure and put her in a room. I decided to try this vet because its closer to my house and my broke her toe. They were able to provide a same day appt for 10am. I arrive 10 minutes early as requested and waited and waited for 40 minutes. No update provided at all from staff until I asked. Ask I was waiting, I saw the interaction between staff and customer. One staff proceeded to get a dog for the WRONG service twice. They had no idea why the customer was waiting. As I was still waiting I started to get a negative gut feeling. I have a cat that requires chronic medication. Came in asking for a refill about 2 weeks before running out because I'm traveling and my cat sitter would run out while I was away. A front desk assistant named Tania told that I'm "playing dumb with controlled substances" and that I need to pay for another appointment before they will consider the refill. For how much these folks charge for their services, they offer nothing but bad patient treatment.

I have been coming to this veterinarian for many years. Today I brought in my dog for her allergy shot. She hadn't been seen in over a year so they needed to charge me a $97 exam fee. I agreed. What was the exam? The doctor listened to her heartbeat. That's it. $97 for that? It makes me wonder, what's more important, the money or care? What a joke. On top of that, the allergy shot was $197. I will be finding a new vet soon.

Appointments are made in advance in hopes your pet will be attended to in a timely manner. It is insulting when someone is allowed to make a last minute appointment when you are at the clinic and everyone with an appointment takes the back seat. This is a clinic not an emergency clinic. Not fair to the recurring clients hoping to get their pets cared for

This place has gone to hell in a handbag! I followed my doctor here but this clinic is toxic. I want to stress that I love my doc, Dr Bhuta, and I hope she finds another place. But the receptionists here are rude, know it alls, this clinic only cares about $$ and not your animal. We need places that put animals and their owners first.

The worst and rudest front desk ever and so incompetent!! What is so hard about running a smooth and friendly front desk??? Give me 1-2 months and I can change this for the better. . I really can. I went here for over 10 years and have multiple dogs. So sad what has happened to this once great clinic. I use to think it was a 4-5 star place. Now, -10. Awful. When I complained, they asked me to leave after many many years. There was a front desk gal who was on a power trip and was like Putin! The power got to her head. ... read more
