I am currently undergoing outpatient ECT treatments for severe depression. I've tried many medications over the past 2 years with no success, but with the ECT treatments (I have had 14 so far) I am showing signs of improvement. The staff here is friendly and helpful and they treat me with kindness and respect. Melissa, especially, is caring and keeps my wife and I informed. I am hopeful for a full recovery and I know that they are doing their best to help me achieve it.

I was in dire need of mental health help, and I got it. I was on the third floor, East wing, and what broke my heart were how many young people were there because they tried to end it all. How sad to think they had no one in their lives they felt comfortable talking to, and I know how lucky I am with my loving husband, family and friends. The group sessions centered on dealing with stress situations which put you over the edge: what they are or could be; how to diffuse a bad situation; how to cope with stress; how good ... read more

The ECT team is a close knit, high performance team. They helped me achieve the desired outcome. I would recommend this treatment for people who have not gotten a desired outcome from pharmaceuticals.

ECT- Electroconvulsive therapy cured my depression when nothing else did. I have been to half a dozen psychiatric hospitals and none of them have done what ECT did. I dont feel depressed at all and feel better now than i have in years. According to the mayo clinic ECT is -a procedure, done under general anesthesia, in which small electric currents are passed through the brain, intentionally triggering a brief seizure. ECT seems to cause changes in brain chemistry that can quickly reverse symptoms of certain mental illnesses... read more

I received ECT treatments as well as outpatient counseling through Park Royal Hospital. The treatment team was amazing! They are highly knowledgeable and extremely compassionate with their patients. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone in need of mental health care!! Ryan-

OK HERE IS THE ARTICLE. PLEASE READ THIS IN IT'S ENTIRETY: Acadia Healthcare is one of America's largest chains of psychiatric hospitals. Since the pandemic exacerbated a national mental health crisis, the company's revenue has soared. Its stock price has more than doubled. But a New York Times investigation found that some of that success was built on a disturbing practice: Acadia has lured patients into its facilities and held them against their will, even when detaining them was not medically necessary. In at least 12 ... read more

Just called to check on a patient. I was redirected to call here by David Lawrence Center Naples, FL. Upon calling, the phone operator seemed to forget customer or patient service. She was extremely rude and repeated while I'm in silence "I don't know why David Lawrence would tell you that, we are not associated with David Lawrence and the patient is not here" seriously? This is a government building. If you call law enforcement and they have respect - we need some serious change if almost every medical "rehabilitation" bui... read more

Terrible facility. They keep patients longer just to get more insurance. Staff is horrible except for nurses who give out the meds. And I don't think they are pharmacist. The text do nothing but yell and scream at you. Would not take my dog there.
