ECT- Electroconvulsive therapy cured my depression when nothing else did. I have been to half a dozen psychiatric hospitals and none of them have done what ECT did. I dont feel depressed at all and feel better now than i have in years. According to the mayo clinic ECT is -a procedure, done under general anesthesia, in which small electric currents are passed through the brain, intentionally triggering a brief seizure.
