My loan officer was amazing. He spent time with me discussing different rates and options and finding the best option for our family. Kudos to him all around. However was overworked, over stressed, and he constantly under preformed. He was delayed returning calls and I had to call him most times. When he was behind, he tried to blame my closing attorney, the title officer, and the closer. I had to call supervisors and several people at pennymac to make sure we would close on time.
Could not have been easier. Briggette and Michael were outstanding.

Pennymac was on it from start to finish! At a very busy time, they closed on our house in 29 days while other lenders in the area were taking 45. Their process is efficient, effective, and very impressive. Loved the level of communication throughout, enjoyed working with all levels of the team!
My loan closed almost a month later then was expected. Agent failed to call back on dates she said she would call back. Agent claimed to have schedule a time with closing agent that was never set up. I made arrangements to meet on that date and no one called me to tell me it wasn't scheduled . I wasted a whole day.
PennyMac is a great mortgage company and will recommend to friends and family
The communication was extremely poor. We could never reach anyone by phone, voicemails were never returned. Emails were also NEVER replied to. This was an awful experience and I am so glad it’s over. Maybe the workers are too busy to care about replying to customers or maybe the company is just too big. Whatever the reason, I wouldn’t recommend this process to anyone. Thomas papageorge was the ONLY person who was consistently reliable, friendly, helpful, and quick to respond ALWAYS.
I have received great service from the MAC team throughout the life of my loan with , and that is why I made you the first to help me with my streamline refinance. Great job MAC team.
