Very easy process
Bridgette was very open and handled all my question completely and accurately. I had zero issues during the process.
Unfortunately the loan officer failed to notice that the contracted appraisal was not done on time. I brought up the deficiency a week before closing. It then took almost a week to get the appraisal and another week to complete closing. Pennymac even failed to meet its own deadline extension. Instead of empathy the lender told me “it’s not my fault”. When I continually requested updates I got a lot of “I sent someone an email” which, considering the circumstances, was not proactive enough.
This was the least painful financial transaction I have ever been a part of. Each of the PennyMac agents that were part of my refinance were courteous, personable, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
I took this survey last week and I have not yet heard back from a supervisor. I couldn't get a call back or an email response from my agent or sales person. It's like once they knew the documents were signed they didn't care anymore. Almost criminal in my opinion. I still have some major issues but nobody from Pennymac will return my calls. Use a different lender.
It was done very quickly and everything was just as it was agreed upon
From start to finish, Morgan to Xavier, you guys were wonderful. You gave me the time and information I needed to fully understand each step. The time from start to finish of my refinancing process was exceptional. Thank you!
Too much delay on closing process... It took 2 full months to close. Also, communication was not the best.
The process to close was simple and easy!
