There were too many people involved, as I received emails from multiple people. They originally offered me a lower rate with no Cashout, but presented me with a higher rate with no communication until I told them I was no longer interested, at which time they reduced it from 3.5% to 2.9%, which is a big difference.

The only negative to the whole process was being notified the day before the signing/closing that I would have to come up with $876 at the signing! I never fully understood why.The Loan Disclosure Statement showed that I'd be getting $198 a few days after the signing...that had all changed. I kept getting told that it had to do with a deficit in my escrow account. I still don't know how that could be, because I was never late on any payment, and PennyMac had set the escrow payment amount.

elizabeth was a very knowledgeable, personable, understanding and know her job excellently, walked us through each and every step, if we didn't understand she was there to explain and in a very quick manner, never left us dangling, our loan was processed in a very timely manner, i would recommend pennymac immediately if elizabeth was your team member, pennymac has a gem on their team
