I'm not sure that my lack of enthusiasm with PennyMac's performance during the refi process could have been improved by Hermes "doing a better job". I think he was totally constrained by how backed up the review and approval process was. I was assured that my totally standard refi request should take between 30 and 45 days. It took 3 months and 2 weeks. Almost every week I received an identical letter thanking me for my patience and assuring me that all would be handled the following week.
Everything went well had only one small problem with the taxes for my loan, but that was fixed by the next day.

It was ok hard to get a hold of and repeated same info several times

I could not be more pleased with the complete interface with the entire team that helped the process of the refi ,the profession attitude and the reasurense that if I had any questions the information was supplied . thanks for such a fantastic experence.
I have a hard time with the duration of the complete process due to staffing while Pennymac continues to advertise aggressively. If the company cannot support the business it has, then it should not continue to take on new business. Expectation was for one month process which took three. Hermes was professional, my comments in no way reflect his performance.
I asked about a lower rate that veterans United was offering and they said they would get back to me but PennyMac never did.
