Multiple requests for the same documents. Did not seem that various PennyMac teams communicated resulting in a Closing reschedule.

Communication from to many people.
My mortgage refinance was a great experience because I thought converting my FHA loan to a conventional loan would be difficult, but overall PennyMac made this experience very easy! Everyone I worked with made the experience easy and efficient. Every effort was made to use existing documents or information, questions were answered by knowledgable associates, like Shalom Babalola, and closing was done before the estimated timeframe.
We were jerked around asking for the same documents over and over again, if you want our money then you should make this as streamline as possible, we provided documents within 24 hours or within the hour after inspections were done, you made a lot of money off us and then multiple requests for the same things over and over. That is not ok, we were ready to go elsewhere.
I have never met nicer people than at PennyMac. Everyone I spoke with have been amazingly helpful and did not get frustrated when I asked the same question more than once. From the moment I started the process to closing, Linda Frazier was with me every step of the way. She called me weekly to update me on where we were in the process. If I had additional questions, I could call her any time. This has been an amazingly pleasant and easy experience thanks to the amazing customer service at PennyMac!
Great team to work witg
If we would have elected to use a different lender that certainly would have made it better. After the initial conversation everything went down hill from there. No clear lines of communication, multiple requests for already provided documentation, missed close date by several weeks, and took 4 business to close. Virtually no communication after approval. Thought it was miracle it actually closed. Can’t over estimate how disappointed we were.
