Due to the COVID-19 emergency, closing was delayed, through no fault of Pennymac. Linda demonstrated professionalism throughout the prolonged process, keeping me updated, including on a weekend. I hope I get to work with her again on my next refi.

Sarah Guevara was fantastic in servicing my loan. She maintained great communication throughout the process and was able to effectively answer all my questions. She provided accurate information and helped guide me through the closing process which put my mind at ease. She took the time to actually listen to my questions and her answers were appropriate to my question. It was a great pleasure working with her. I wish more people in a customer interactive role were like her. A+++ service.
The PennyMac team was helpful as they walked us through the refinance process. They answered my questions completely.
When we received an email saying we could email back, we never heard back. Appointment for notary wasn't scheduled until last minute even though we replied with an email. We needed an additional $400 to close which when we started we were told we wouldn't need any more money. It looks like the money was in our loan amount anyways so why did we pay out of pocket? A direct phone number or email would be the best way of contact and communication.
I was told several different numbers 2 days before closing. I also requested the documents that showed all the numbers since my refund numbers changed several times. I also did not receive any of the closing documents during closing.
