Linda and the entire PennyMac team were really great. All questions answered as they came up, and I was able to close earlier than expected.
Our loan process was very quick from start to finish. We were given an estimated timeframe of 60 days but closed in less than 30. The in-home closing was very easy and all of the document requests were easy to complete.

After having so may failed attempts to refinance due to the lack of professionalism from bank of America and Citigroup I got approved and signed contract by the original expected close date unlike the mentioned banks that postpone up to 5 times my closing date and reassigned several representatives
I already reviewed this experience once...Karina was nearly impossible to get a hold of and talk to...It took way to long to get the re-fi and it wasn't until I threatened to go somewhere else that everything was magically complete and ready (literally within an hour of my angry phone call) which only shows that it could have been done way earlier. I only went with Pennymac because they held my first mortgage. Next time, I would definitely shop around.
More communication and reply in timely answers. Request for dead husbands signature and paperwork you have on file that took weeks to get and refinance was also done through penny mac
Make it so that one person in handling the loan processing, not 10 people all figuring out things. Also please request right documents to appraisal. Very pleased with Noemy communication and customer service but the rest of the mac team for the most part is incompetent of their job. Nobody seems to be on the same page.... If not for the the interest rate locked in, I would have gladly taken my business else where. I have been trying to contact the care compliant service as well, but she does not give me a call back.
