The automated emails were annoying and confusing. Still receiving them after closing.
This was the smoothest and fastest refinance process I have ever experienced. Nearly all questions were answered early on in the process. Everything during the process went very well right up through the closing and funding of the loan.

There were a lot of communication challenges between pennymac and my realtor. Pennymac was contacting my realtor’s broker, not my actual realtor despite me providing his contact info several times. Because of this, the closing process was significantly delayed and led to a lot of confusion between myself, my realtor, and the title company to include my realtor not being able to submit comps when the home did not appraise for the agreed upon sale price. I love Pennymack, the staff are knowledgeable and efficient and they work with you to the end to insure success. “Sometimes they got on my nerves” sending the same things over and over. It was all for my good. I am so happy to have had them as my mortgage company to give me the house that I dreamed off.
Road maintenance agreement was required when none given to me when I initially bought my home.
