The whole process went really smooth and the closing came quicker than I anticipated. Even the closing cost were slightly lower than the original estimate. Everyone was always very helpful and answered all of my questions promptly. I couldn't have asked for an easier process from beginning to closing. Great Job everyone.
I had the pleasure of working with Alfred Reams to start my refinance. I appreciated his patience and kindness in helping me navigate the process. Lauren Aslin was always kind, returned my calls if neccessary had answers to my questions. During these difficult times it did take longer to process my refi but I feel Pennymac was efficient.
Exceptional customer service
I started the process in August and my closing was December 1. This was too long and the request for more documents was ridiculous.
Everything was good, it did take a bit longer then I thought it would. Also it did take a bit longer to communicate with the person helping me but I guess I understand considering the heavy demand for refi's and home purchases at this time. Anyway I would recommend pennymac and use them again
Better, faster communication
Everything i was told would happen did not happen ,prices at closing were wrong,trying to get in contact with Brittany Claypool was next to impossible, had to get other agents involved, I feel that she is not professional at all and should not be doing the job she currently holds,this was expressed to me by another agent also,many mistakes were made that only after I pointed out were somewhat fixed ,very frustrating, will never work with this company or person again
Easiest refi by far!
It would have been great - we just had some glitches where we had to send multiple documents over and over and since these were sensitive documents, once we uploaded them, we deleted them but the request would come again and we would have to log into systems to retrieve them over again. I will say our point of contact was very helpful and apologized for the inconvenience. We also had inaccurate documents and it took a while to resolve. So we had the glitches but overall, they were handled well
