Great experience
Our refi experience with PennyMac was quick and simple. There weren’t many hoops to jump through and we were kept well informed along the way. Three weeks start to finish and all done electronically. Closing took place in our home. You truly can’t go wrong with Brent Kapaun and his team at PennyMac!
Working with Kami was the best experience I’ve had. She explained everything in a way that was simple to understand. I’m not tech savi and She was very patient. Very easy to talk to, friendly. Thank you Kami

The whole process took far too long, 2-3 months. A specific document was requested several times after I sent it. I had to speak to representatives and even a supervisor a few times to clear it up and get the process moving forward. The whole process was tiresome. I would recommend reviewing the process for opportunities to streamline it and make it easier for customers.
My answers are NOT a reflection of Ms. Christmas, she was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. This process took extremely long. Information was not communicated between PennyMac processors. I had to have my credit ran 2x, and my home appraisal almost expired. The only saving grace for this process was my title company pulling through last minute, a company I picked myself. I am thankful that my loan is closed, but I feel PennyMac couldn't care less about me and is very very unorganized.
