My loan team was awesome and honestly it went very quick and smooth even with changes midstream to my income. I would highly recommend Penny Mac to anyone for a home loan or refinance!
The Agents I communicated with were very helpful and answered all of my questions. Even with the high volume of loans during these times, they made effort to communicate and update my progress.

The communication when it was time to close could’ve been much better! I was completely lost on my closing date. I had no final closing disclosures nor did I know how much I was expected to bring to closing. I called Penny Mac repeatedly on my closing date and no one could help me. I didn’t know the closing was still on the schedule until my doorbell rang.
When calling for more clarity, hard to communicate with someone......and changes made, lack of of a live person
Took 4 attempts to finally close!
This was the worst experience I have ever had. Both Nekita (Kita) Morris and Arthor Tate should no longer work for this company. Little to no communication. My emails were ignored. I was promised 2 months without payments, but only received one month.
Refinance Loan closing took longer than actually buying the house. I had to follow up with loan rep. ZERO questions have been answered. Cash due at signing didn't match my documents, received an email at 2am the morning of closing from the rep stating the amount due at closing, which was unexpected. The closing rep came to closing with another amount all together. No record of payment. Called into find out about my property tax payment, with no answer. ...ran out of room. Have more to type!
