Refinance process was not stressful at all.
Everything about the procedural steps of the process were great. But our rep Eric Briggs was not great at all. He lacked communication skills and the customer experience we received was far less than poor.
I was quite shocked & annoyed when I met with the notary to sign the final papers & my brother-in-law, who I had requested NOT be on the title, was listed as a "co-borrower" & had to sign as many papers as I did. I had emailed with Agnes Lamon on 6/11/20 that I only wanted myself & my sister on the title as it has been in the past, NOT her husband, yet the exact opposite happened at the signing. The notary saw how annoyed we were & said the title information can be changed later.

everything was great, but it took too long
Better communication regarding status updates, notices of closing date change and information regarding closing date requirements (ie. Payment type, legal documents needed, etc.)
Kelly was great throughout our entire process of refinancing. She communicated regularly and always was pleasant to talk to. She always had time for my questions and knew all the answers. Thank you PennyMac!
