The only issue I had, and why some of this was frustrating, was that any email I sent went to a generic email team instead of the loan officer assigned to my loan. I wouldn't get emails back for a few days. The same goes for phone calls. I would be routed to the first person available, and that person wouldn't be able to help me. One even stated that I would need to speak with the loan officer assigned to the loan... that's what I was trying to do in the first place.

I had a wonderful experience every step of the way during the process of refinancing my home! The staff that work for Pennymac definitely take pride in all the work they do! Thank you so much for saving me money and for all that you do it is greatly appreciated!!!

Took longer than I thought, ask for repeated documents that I had no access to.

My only gripe was that documents were requested "sort of" last minute. All I had was a few days to submit info. Also, the closing document signage was rushed, i guess due to time sensitivity. But other than that, the process was easy and simple, mainly due to this process not being my first time.

The process was very easy in my opinion. The only negative to me was the appraisal and that was not PennyMacs fault. The appraiser was horrible. It took a little longer than expected due to Covid but overall a good experience with people that care and are knowledgeable. I have already recommended PennyMac to 2 coworkers looking to refinance.
