Tracy and Jacob were great to work with.
Tracy was extremely helpful, especially through my error in not having a current ID when the notary showed up. The process didn't move particularly quickly, but I know that's due to the current rate environment rather than anyone's work. I would absolutely use PennyMac again.
I have purchased and refinanced homes many times. PennyMac is by far the worst experience when it comes to home loans. The customer service is non existent. When you call a manager, there is no one available to address your concerns or even to return your call. I had to tell my processing specialist what he needed to do. I felt like he had no knowledge or experience of the loan process or customer service. Please review our calls and emails. So unprofessional and unbelievable. Glad it's over.

Everyone I dealt with through out the process was very knowledgeable and easy to speak to. The whole process was done and we closed on our refinance in the time frame they said it would be done. I would recommend PennMac to anyone looking for a new loan or a refinance.
