Pennymac is the best!
Better communication during the process.
1. You did not stick to your original loan estimate. The only cost that was considerably different was the rate cost which should not have changed. 2. When the closing costs were drastically different than the loan estimate, no one communicated with me about the changes. I had to call every week for several weeks before someone was able to find out why. 3. Over promised, under delivered. Daily Webb kept assuring me the changes were a computer glitch and there were no real issues. Was not true
My experience was EXCEPTIONAL every step of the process!!!! Everyone was thorough and patient with my questions. I felt genuinely cared about and the process could not have been more simple. Constant updates. Answers were quick. Progress was smooth
the rate= great 1% drop but 2.69 ($2500) points charged was not explained until the final documents for examination, With points and all charges the cost of refinance was $5400,4.8%. I called to discuss a point reduction, officer who began the loan was no longer my officer and I had to deal with a new loan officer who explained the points. I was a week from closing and decided to just "eat it". The I wanted to drop my payment $150, ends up only being $65. could have done better Big winner P.Mac
I think the whole thing went smoothly. I felt like the hand off between one pennymac rep to the next was well done. I had no problem of contacting either one of them.
