communication after the loan was pre-approved was beyond poor. As well, knowing where your customer is located would be good. We had a number of calls at 8 or 9pm about our loan because the officer was west coast and we are east coast. This really isn't a good thing for a large company and nobody wants to be talking about their loan at that time of night. In addition, having up-to-date documents at closing is really important. The documents were slow in coming and were inaccurate when we receive

Initially, the process was pleasant. However, trying to get in touch with someone was painful. I understand the remote workforce and challenges that COVID has created, however, their should have been a better plan in place. My closing dates were rescheduled multiple times without communication or notification. Cash to closing changed after confirmation due to date of actual closing date. I was accommodating to all scheduled dates.
The whole experience was great until it came time to sign the closing documents. The 1st attempt the mobile notary never showed up to my house. The 2nd attempt the mobile notary was supposed to be at my house at 930 am, but did not show up until 11 am. She did not print any of the paperwork until 930 am when she was already supposed to be at my house. The mobile notary said it was not her fault because Pennymac did not send her the paperwork to be printed until 930 am.
