It was an always has been a pleasure working with the PennyMac Staff. They are one of the most seem less and most Customer Service Oriented Loan Servicing Companies I have ever worked with.
The second time i went through the loan process it went very well. Everything was communicated well and the closing was earlier than i expected and cheaper. The first time however was a nightmare. I was asked for all manner of documents that did not make sense to me. I called the loan officer at least a half a dozen times with no answer, left a voicemail to no response, and emailed him to also no response. Then was denied the refinance with no warning.
