Our dog Amiko only wants to go to Pet Med doggy daycare. He gets attention from all the staff ( his girlfriends) and we have seen firsthand that they love and care for them like they're their own . We go out of our way to recommend them!

The wait time can be a little long but it's worth it. The Dr's listen and address all concerns you have. They don't just try to rush you through. I've taken my chaweenie here two or three times. Pricing for shots though is waaaay high, better off going to SPCA or clinic at Petsmart ect. Other than than it's a good place. Clean and friendly an my dog doesn't seem stressed when she goes there.

My beloved canine ended up here after HOPE turned him down for routine vaccines because they were unable to restrain him (but in his defense, he's a strong 100 lbs and terrified of people 'messing' with him). So, HOPE referred me to the Pet Medical Center where I was able to get a same day appointment. Everyone at PMC seemed genuinely interested in my dog and they were great with him. Because of the dog's rough past and now distrust/behavioral issues, they weren't able to give vaccines and ended up sedating him in order to d... read more

As a foster parent for the Animal Compassion Team, I took a dog here for an intake physical and shots. I scheduled the appt online then talked to someone on the phone to verify. When I got there, I wasn't in the computer but she put me right in. They were really busy and all the other animals and their people were very friendly. The vet assistance (I can't remember her name, little blonde girl), was super friendly and did what she could to get us in quickly. While waiting, I was watching the dogs in the playroom and the... read more

As a health professional, I know good doctors. I have been 2 vets at this office--- and I would highly recommend Dr. Johnston. I even took my dad along to the visit, and he 's a physician, and he even say how and what Dr. Johnston say/explains diagnosis and treatment--- that she's an excellent doctor. If you have cats, I would definitely go to her. Also, I would request Jesse the Vet Tech--- she handles the cats really well. On my other visit-- I had the other Vet (whom I won't name)--- she seems to overdiagnose (which s... read more

Have been bringing my animals here since it was Pet Medical Center on First & Bullard and it was only Dr Dumar. Yes it's pricey, but I also believe that you get what you pay for and they treat your animal as if it was their own. If your human child was going to go under anesthesia, your doctor would request bloodwork to be done prior to make sure it is safe to perform the surgery .... so do the vets at Pet Medical Center. If your human child were to have surgery they would get fluids during the procedure to keep them hydr... read more

Have taken my pets here several times over the last few years. Always good service and easy to get appointments. Doctors are generally very nice and knowledgeable. What's keeping them away from a higher rating from me is the price tag. Office visit and routine shots for my 3 cats just cost me over $500! And I had no idea that much till I went to check out. Prices were not always this steep. If I had the luxury of extra cash I'd continue here.

They wouldn't even make an appointment over the phone. They wanted me to come down and fill paperwork and then make an appointment. Crazy!!!!! More complicated than people doctors. I do not recommend

Not sure what I was thinking giving 2 stars, they don't even deserve one strictly because of the office manager. The person responding to my review is a complete liar. Do not take your pets here if you want to be respected and/or charged appropriately. I've gone to another local vet and the experience is night and day. For example, the police were NEVER involved. I was threatened with police for simply asking to discuss a bill in person? Do not trust this establishment. Please message me w any specific questions.
