I went in today to board my dog in the VIP $39 a day Suite. To my surprise he was walked passed the door that lead to that area and taken to the kennel area. When I inquired why, I was told he will be placed in a Suite in the back but the ones with the web cameras were booked. Now I was given a tour months ago, when I used them before, there is no Suites in the rear . Oh yeah; the reservation were made weeks in advance. BE AWARE and make sure you get what you are paying for. She gets paid to make her response, I don't... read more

Business response:

Thank you so much for your feedback we appreciate your concerns and apologize that there was some confusion with your check-in. We do have 7 Suites that do have cameras that are booked for this weekend. Your reservation was scheduled in a VIP Loft which does not have a camera and is $39/night. The Suites with cameras range from $49-$59/night. To see the differences between accommodations you can visit our boarding page on our website http://petmedicalfresno.com/services/boarding-doggie-day-care/ Thank you

I am so disappointed to write this one star review. I have been taking my little dog up to this facility for several months for doggie daycare. My dog seemed to enjoy it, and I appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of their front office staff. I adopted a new rescue dog last week and was informed that they were no longer taking new doggies into day care, not even brothers or sisters of existing clients. Nor did they indicate any interest in a first come first served reservation system for their day care. Curr... read more

Business response:

Thank you so much for your feedback, we appreciate your candor and recommendations. We understand your frustration and I apologize for not being able to have your new family member in our group. Our daycare group is at capacity and we haven't accepted any new participants since April. We want to be able to continue to offer a safe and spacious environment for our participants and continue to take a waiting list for new pets into the program. We do apologize for the inconvenience.

We had a miserable experience. Our dog got his leg broken so we took him to the emergency vet on Blackstone near Herndon to get him taken care of. Although the cost there wasn't what we'd call reasonable, we paid for it. The next day we set up an appointment for the following week at the Pet Medical Center for his follow up. Everything was cool. When I dropped him off the technicians didn't have any idea on when he'd be done, which was the first sign of things being weird. But it was fine and I left him and went to work. A f... read more

This is a total modification of my previous 5 star review which I deleted. Originally I used them as doggy day care and early on it was an excellent choice. After my dog had attended regularly for approximately 16 weeks, I learned that all is not as it originally seemed. During this time, he received minor injuries several times. The vet examined the injuries and treated them accordingly. The last injury he received was a minor scratch on his foot. They advised me of this when I came to pick him up, but did not bring my dog ... read more

Thank you so much for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time. I do apologize that our explanation of papilloma's had not been explained very well. Anytime dogs are in a group setting there is a risk of sharing germs, similar to kids in daycare. We do require that all dogs be up to date on vaccines but there are many things dogs can share that vaccines don't protect against. These things can be contracted in dog day cares, dog parks or even out on walks, etc. For the protection of all pets in our care, we do not ad... read more

Do not board your pet here!!! After boarding my boxer puppy here she lost so much weight! They don't really play with your pet like they state they will on their website. They let my puppy out with other dogs (I watched on the video monitor) and let the male dogs ride her!! She was not spayed and they didn't even try to stop the situation. After seeing this on the video I called them, they put her back in her pen and never played with her after the incident. They put her coat in her pen(NOT OH HER) to sleep with like a blank... read more

Business response:

We welcome all feedback and would appreciate your honesty first and foremost, we do not appreciate blatant lies in a public forum to slander our business. You were contacted by the boarding manager after your stay to address your concerns and she confirmed that your pet ate regularly during her stay and you spoke with her during your pet's stay on more than one occasion. Many staff members spoke to you during your pets stay and explained to you that her coat was stowed in her cubby and was never left in her room. A staff mem... read more

BE CAREFUL when you board your dog! I will NEVER use this facility again. Terrible service. They were not good with our dogs! They paid no attention to them! You don't get what you pay for and it is very misleading! We even had the rooms with the cameras and watched them! Never again! Lesson "unfortunately" learned!!!

Thanks Kelly for your response. I especially appreciated the condescending tone as you apologize that I didn't know you had males working there. As a loyal customer of well over 7+ years I know you have several different veterinarians and technicians. Every time I called to make an appointment I specifically ask if it's a male or female veterinarian because of my dogs issue with males. Your male veterinarian came into the room after I specifically told your technician that my pup was not male friendly. That was not appro... read more

Business response:

Thanks for your feedback. I apologize if you were not aware that we have more than one doctor that works at our facility, we actually have quite a few so that we are able to offer more flexibility to our appointment schedule. In our veterinary facility we have both male and female doctors and employees. I apologize that we don't declare the sex of the staff when each appointment is made as that would be discriminatory, however we are happy to schedule with specific doctors upon request. When you were here for your appointme... read more

I would have to say that it is difficult to find a good veterinary practice where as a customer you feel completely comfortable. I took my cat to this practice and was pretty satisfied with the doctors and staff. Today I had to take my cat to be euthanized. I am extremely disappointed and upset about the experience. We scheduled an appointment and experienced disorganization from staff and being rushed like we were just a number. I was also given incorrect information about the euthanasia fee by staff prior to our appoi... read more

Business response:

Hi Bonnie, We are very sorry for the loss of your pet. End of life decisions are never easy and can be a difficult time for many families. We did speak about this privately and I hope that we addressed your concerns. Thanks for your feedback.

I'm so sick of this place. Stay away from Wendy the technician. She is not only rude and careless, but says rude things about clients within earshot! Very unprofessional and shows no empathy towards clients or patients. A few years ago they changed management, the new manager is Kelly, who lacks any human emotion. Once she took over, prices went up and service went down. Kelly cares about money, and I understand that this is a business and they have bills too, but she's just downright greedy. They market themselves very wel... read more
