So Yelp Took My Review down! My Offensive Language About The Mask Mandate Was too much ! I still would not do any business with Pet Care , They kept my dogs records after numerous attempts to receive them , so I was unable to see another vet until those records were released over one month of contracting pet care and until I went in there and got vocally loud with them for them to call the police on me !! Went today to Petcare in Roseville on Douglas blvd for my 2nd appt today with my puppy to get a shot. I was greeted by the office manager asking if I needed a mask, I replied no. She said you have to wear one it's our policy. I said since when? My first appointment I was all over this whole office saw the staff in the front several vet techs and even the vet!! The vets and vet techs here are amazing, but the front desk staff have left me too frustrated to continue taking my puppy here. They have made the call to refuse care to our puppy twice without consulting with the vet, so we've moved on and found another incredible vet office in the area.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE! My lab was being strangle by their leash and they told me me was being aggressive (my dog is the least aggressive animal I've ever known). I couldn't even get my finger nail under the leash around his neck. Im sure he was pissed off since he couldn't breathe. I had to scream at the tech that was holding the leash to let go so he could breathe. I asked 5 times before screaming at her. I'm sorry for this long review, but I feel my story needs to be read by pet owners faced with having to lose their four legged friends/kids/companions. It was time to take my almost 17 year old Boston Terrier, Lulu, in to be put to sleep. She was at the end of her life and was acting it. I was sobbing the whole time we were there. Though I made an appointment with Petcare (who had treated her before) we had to sit in the cold, unwelcoming, sparse lobby for 20-25 minutes, which was agonizing for all of us. Second time I've had a bad experience. I stopped coming in 2017 due to the extra long wait and poor service. I had an appointment for 3:30, checked in at 3:25 and was finally seen at 4:00 PM. Had a fine minute check-in, then waited for another 35 minutes. I had enough and decided to leave. I went into the waiting room and waited for 10 minutes because no one was at the counter when I finally just left! I received a call 13 minutes later asking to reschedule. Yeah, no thanks. I'll find another veterinarian.

My cat had an annual check up and upon conducting an oral exam I was told he had two molars that need to be extracted. Vet said the looked really bad so i set up an appointment for the procedure. When I dropped him off for the extraction I was asked if I wanted to pre-authorization for additional work while they had him under or if I want them to call for authorization. I have two cats that are brother and sister and outside of the playful scuffle they have been nothing but loving to each other their 7 lives living together. I have taken them to two other clinics and never had any problems when I returned. This was my first time taking my girl cat to this clinic and when she came back her brother cat became very hostile towards her. I've been going here for years. Tenny has bacteria in her ear, so I worry about her. I didn't understand the treatment plan and it was expensive. This is a common frustration. I'm disappointed that no one seems to care about her health. Similar to how healthcare is viewed, money first and debt later. People who work here are nice. The whole process takes too long in my opinion. And I prefer not to feel like I'm ordering off a menu when it comes to my dogs health.
