Dr. Koski has been beloved Mollie's veterinarian for the last five years, but we've been at Pet's Friend for 15+. Never a bad experience, it's a great team. However, last month they excelled themselves: on a regular health-check, Dr. Koski identified an anal gland tumor so small that dogs with tumors that size are not reported in the scientific literature. We have two cats and visit here multiple times for their regular check up. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. The staff was friendly, caring, and professional, and I really appreciated how patiently they listened to my concerns and explained everything clearly. I especially appreciated that the veterinarian took the time to discuss the possible causes, explain the recommended tests and treatments, and help me understand which options were most important. I am SO glad I switched to this clinic from my previous one where I had gone for decades. At the old clinic, once the owner retired, it was sold to a private equity practice where the quality was substandard. Pet's Friend has been friendly (with me and my dog), responsive, caring, affordable, and educational. I would give them my highest recommendation without any reservations!

While the decision to leave my longtime veterinary hospital after it sold was tough, I'm so glad I did! I could not be happier with the care and communication from PFAC so far. They've made the transition seamless. Dr Malone is fabulous and the support staff has been great. Highly recommended!

i love dr hsieh she just clicks with my dog . it's a bit pricey compared to other vets but it's worth it . i feel comfortable with their service

Unfortunately, I have to update my review. I've been bringing my dog, Jax, here for about a year, and he has received excellent care from Dr. Koski and Dr. Hsieh. They've been thorough, compassionate, and has helped manage his many health conditions well. That said, I had a very disappointing experience with the clinic's customer service. An important email regarding Jax's Cushing's treatment was handled by a staff member, Laurie, whose response was unprofessional and difficult to follow. Really solid veterinarian clinic. This was recommended to me by chat GPT and I was very pleased with our first visit there with our dog and cat. The exams and preventive health stuff was handled with ease. Their quote for teeth cleaning was way high, we ended up getting it much, much cheaper at Warm Springs Animal Hospital in Fremont (again, a chat GPT recommendation that was really good)! I wouldn't hesitate to make this place your primary vet office.

I've been coming to this vet for the last 4 years the entire life of my Corgi Kobe. They have been great and amazing with him. I continue to come here even after moving to the east bay as I trust their services and treatment of Kobe. They are always understanding and supportive and even make exceptions when needed. Amazing staff I couldn't ask for a better team here at Per's Friends.
