Can't say enough good things about Pets Friend and especially Dr. Moore! My wife and I have been taking our 2 year old Shiba Inu here since he was 8 weeks and the love and care they show him is amazing. We moved to San Ramon about 10 months ago but still make the 45 min trip here anytime he needs a vet. He always gets excited to see Dr. Moore and his friends at the front desk :)
Our cat was not easy to get to the vet as he fought valiantly against being confined but on the occasions we were able to take him, the staff at the clinic were kind, thorough and professional. Recently he died and we took him there to be cremated. The staff were so understanding and compassionate for our grief, even though they cannot have liked him much when alive! Hands down the best clinic for my dogs. They care, don't advise unnecessary procedures or meds and stay on top of schedules etc. Plus they are SUPER responsive to any questions or queries even via email!
I've had an excellent experience with Dr. Miller, Dr. Koski, and staff. (I'm sure the other doctors are just as excellent) I originally came to Pets Friend Animal Clinic because my previous vet in Sunnyvale couldn't treat my dog's chronic diarrhea issue. I have used Pet's Friend now for years and I have never had a better veterinarian. Their services are exceptional and the staff is absolutely terrific. When my dog - whom they had provided excellent care for years -- recently passed away they were incredibly kind and compassionate. I can't say enough good things about Pet's Friend.

I have been to many different Animal Clinics in the Bay area (including Adobe and SAGE) and think this hospital is the best. I found Dr. Ma is great. She is very capable, caring, and only recommends the necessary treatment for my dogs. For example, when Dr. Ma listens to one of my dogs' heart and heard Murmur sound, she recommends seeing a cardiac Specialists, which is the right thing to do. Great customer service and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dr Moore is the best and she really cares about my fur babies. Her suggestions are great and she's never pushy about decision making.

If you're in need of a kind, patient, knowledgeable vet, I'd recommend Dr. Allison Moore at Pet's Friend Animal Clinic. She has treated our dog for tendonitis and pancreatitis, as well as routine vaccinations and checkups. Her very first response to meeting our 6 year old, very scared Labrador was to sit down on the floor with her, talk to her sweetly, and give her treats. I brought my basset hound in for his first visit today after some issues I had noticed and the FDA report on "grain free" dog foods, which I had been feeding to Henri. Marketing in about any pet store over the last couple years has implied grain free is the best for your dog. They were able to take a blood test and provide me results while I was there that confirmed my fears that I was not providing the best diet for my dog.
