Dr. Koski and staff are AMAZING. The nurses are incredibly knowledgeable and were kind to our new dog. Dr. Koski is a walking computer - she is so knowledgeable about animals and backs up her knowledge with studies. If you are in the Sunnyvale area and are looking for a new vet, I highly recommended Pet's Friend Animal Clinic.
Wow. I started coming here during quarantine, so I had never seen the inside of the clinic until recently (during quarantine, they had you park outside and call and would come out to your car to take your pet in for his/her appointment). It's really nice inside. It's a lot larger than I'd expected, and there's a large section for cats and dogs each, on either side of the front door. Everything feels super clean. Dr. Hsieh is amazing with both the animal and the pet parent! My dog is not a fan of the vet, but Dr. Hsieh is so calming that my dog was timid but relaxed. She even offered to have my pup come back another time just for treats and love so he can get comfortable going there. Dr. Hsieh explained every little detail of the care she was providing and all the options she suggests, but is not overly pushy on any particular treatment. I had a senior dog that had kidney failure and despite having been a stabilized patient at another facility, they refused to see him till the middle of the week. However, pet's friends were nice enough to get me in the same day even though we were new patients. Since he was so sick, he had to get help crossing the rainbow, and Dr. Miller was the best at my hardest time. She was there for me and my dog, made the process as smooth as possible and understood how much pain I was in and gave me all the time I needed to say good... read more
We took our adopted kitties to meet Dr. Koskinen. During COVID you wait in car during your appointment and nurses take your fur babies inside. The Doctor calls during the appointment after checking and discusses all of the findings and answers any questions you ask. We learned things about cats we never knew! Very easy working with them and all people in this practice are knowledgeable and patient. We recommend Pet's Friend!
Dr Koski is the best and so is the owner Dr Miller. They have really helped my boy with his adisons disease. Highly recommend this vet
Overall the staff here are super friendly and we've had positive experiences with several of the vets here! Positives: - The exams have always been very thorough and they spend time going over every detail with you, answering every question. - They're very accommodating with scheduling and trying to meet your needs. I recently adopted a wonderful dog, Mango, that needed a good, local vet nearby for any needs that arise. Pet's Friend Animal Clinic has been amazing! We were able to get her initial appointment within a week of calling and they've been really helpful ever since. They took great care of her for her initial visit and, of course, she managed to need vet attention again within the same week. The doctor and vet techs here are great. It's the people who do the clerical and make appointments I had problems with. I called to make appointment for nail trim, they said I had to do yearly exam, charged me $300 and didnt do nails. My dog has to be medicated to do his nails, so he was medicated for nothing.
