I made an appointment at Physicians Immediate Care to avoid a long wait, but unfortunately, that didn't help at all. Even with my scheduled time, I ended up waiting over an hour before being seen. To make matters worse, they took in 3 people who arrived after me before calling me back. If appointments don't actually mean anything, what's the point of offering them? My first time there. I was feeling awful, it was a Saturday morning. I was able to "hold*a place in line, got a text telling me when to start heading over. When I arrived there were only two people ahead of me, I finished the registration, paid my copay and had a seat. Between 5-10 later I was called in. It was very clean, waiting room and inner office. We have been getting really great experience from them. Their receptionist is so professional and very nice. There were some unhappy patients who were complaining alot about wait time and stuff(they were walk-ins!) but the receptionist was calm and trying to help them as much as she could even though she was constantly checking people in and taking phone calls non stop! Appointments mean nothing timing wise (their words, not mine). Made an appointment - showed up 10 minutes early. Receptionist informed me and other patients that the wait time was 1hr 30 minutes. Regardless of whether you made an appointment. The appointment in her words “is to guarantee your spot to be seen, not your time slot”. Not sure why you even have an appointment system.
