Excellent care from very knowledgeable providers. Short wait and clean facility. Much better than going to the ER.
A lot of bad reviews here. When I need an urgent care, I know i'm going to have to wait. I wait my turn, but once I get called in, I am taken seriously and quickly. Every time i've been here, they run every single test they can to rule out what sickness I have. Been going here a lot since my doctor only has appointments 2-3 months in advance and I always feel good about coming here. Are the people the most personable? No not necessarily. But I need them to just care about my health and they definitely do.
I had to come here for some pre-employment work up and everyone I encountered was very professional and accommodating. Special attention to the woman working front desk today. Both times I had to come in she was extremely kind and I overheard her going above and beyond for another client. The wait time is usually a little bit but it's worth it for the great care you'll receive.
I have been to this facility twice now. Both times I was impressed by the ease of booking an appointment, the registration process and the care I've received. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Both times, I needed a COVID-19 test. The second visit also ruled out Covid but they diagnosed pneumonia after exam and chest X-ray. My regular doc wouldn't see me because some of my symptoms lined up with covid symptoms, so they sent me here. Physicians Immediate Care was way better than my doc's office! I was able to easily schedule an appointment and found the interface super user friendly and quick. They had an opening as soon as I needed it. There was plenty of free parking across the street. Walked in to get a TB test for my school program, and they were very thorough as far as taking necessary precautions to be safe in a medical facility. The wait to get into a room to be seen was a little over an hour which is also a little disappointing BUT, it is to be expected at a walk in clinic especially during these times. Overheard a conversation from the front desk that they DO NOT ACCEPT HMO policies. So be warned before going. This review is for Brian Breckly (physician assistant). I initially saw a different PA for my work related injury and for my second follow up I met Brian. I was impressed with his bedside manners. He listens, shows empathy and was accomodating to my needs. I decided to follow him for my additional follow ups. He gets 5 stars and I would definately go back to him. PROFESSIONAL, THOROUGH, KNOWLEDGEABLE My review is based on coming here 4 times in the last 2 years. The medical professionals at this location are professional, very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciate that I can go on line and schedule an appointment. I appreciate that once I arrive and check in at the front desk I don't have a long wait time. The most I waited is 5 to 10 minutes. I appreciate that they accept insurance. Have used Physicians immediate care in Park Ridge now for 3 years- what a godsend. Yes you may have to wait a little bit if you're a walk in, but you can also go online and book a same day or next day appointment. (Can't do that with my doctor). Staff have always treated me kindly and with respect. Have chronic bronchitis and when I go in they know exactly how to treat me now and get my cough under control. Have seen Doc.
