This place is a joke. I made an appt and arrived early. 1 person in the waiting room and they took me back right away, no one else in rooms. I just wanted a strep test. Nurse took the swab right away. Then let the wait begin. I waited. And waited. And waited. Doc locked her head in "oh wrong room" and went to other patients that arrived after me (rooms were empty when I arrived besides a male and I heard female voices). I went in with bladder infection symptoms. i was told no bladder infection through a urine test and at my age it is incontinance . When I got home I read the paper they gave me showing the results of the urine test. it said I had blood in my urine which was abnormal. I called them and was told they sent the urine out for a culture. I said "Are you sure as it doesn't say that on my paper". Megan on the phone said for me to hold on while she checked. Where 2 start? First of all I applaud them for being open on Sunday. Secondly the waiting room was clean, bright but bland decor. Third, it goes downhill from there. I am very understanding and compassionate for seniors still working but the lady working front desk needs a position that is not as demanding. So much went wrong. I called to verify they were open and she placed me on hold for 5 minutes just to let me know they were open. Horrrible wait times. Took 1.5 to get in a room and then 1 hr before a doctor even came in!! Like

They didn't test for anything ! They were Quick to give me antibiotics ( the wrong one since they didn't test me) and sent me on my way ! Called for a follow up, left a message with front desk and on their answering machine . It's been days and no response whatsoever ! They did the same thing when I took my daughter and she ended up having strep , but they said it was just " the flu ".. do yourself a favor and go to another location .

Of all the visits l had with Physicians Immediate Care were very good. But most recently on March 9, 2025.lt was awful and my insurance company will be investigating .Perhaps this merge nay have had a negative reflection. I am disputing the charges they have submitted for doing nothing!!!

Physicians Immediate Care Uptown PR. On Tuesday ran out of COVID tests when we got there, fevers in both patients (one an elderly woman), & the blonde PA said she'd do a respiratory panel test "and you'll have the results tomorrow". It's end of day Friday & nada, nothing. If you need a good urgent care, go to advocate (des plaines or skokie) or north shore in Skokie. Physicians Immediate care PR can't even keep a decent stock of tests they should keep nor can they do a blood test if ever needed anyway.

My husband is a disabled VietNam Veteran. He has pneumonia and needed to be seen by the dr for follow up , we had a 9 am appointment and we have waited one hour so far. The staff was very rude when I went to desk to ask when my husband would be seen. I had already told him he has chronic pain and can't sit for long periods. They were unconcerned.

What's the point of making an appointment if one still has to wait for over an hour to be called back? Front desk women are bored with their jobs and act like patients are inconvenience to them. Zero compassion. Just rude. Got a text there are 3 people ahead of me. 5 walked in before me so I'm not sure why send me a text with 3 patients ahead.
