I was incredibly impressed with the staff and facilities! I travel every week Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and sometimes home ( Saturday's mostly). I had to go to a doctor in Atlanta just 6 days ago where I was quickly diagnosed with Bronchitis, given a prescription of antibiotics and steroid pills. I flew to Chicago Sunday. This is my second experience at this Physicians Immediate Care. They are professional, friendly and caring. Hope to not need them again, but will not hesitate to go there in the future. And the wait has not been long when I have been there.
I stopped here one evening shortly before closing earlier this week and had a wonderful experience. I hate going to doctors so I was really ill by the time I came here. Eva who registered me was quick, professional and very very kind. I saw a nurse (Lena) very quickly and she took the time to get my full history and to find out what exactly was going on. My personal feeling is that you are placing your health and well-being in jeopardy by using this facility. I have been there on two separate occasions, I found the nurses, and nurse practitioners to be accommodating but the protocols are unacceptable. I left a message at the location, I was seen at to arrange a call back I was under the impression that I would receive a call after the provider finished with the next patient. One star is giving this place too much credit. Even with an appt time I was there for almost 2 hours to spend maybe 1 whole minute with the PA. I could have walked one door over to Chipotle for better medical care.

I booked an appointment online, they asked me to pre check in. I have trouble taking pictures of my ID & INS card so I did not proceed to pre check in. I arrived at the clinic, the cashier asked me check in using the text on my phone that I should have received. I proceeded to check in and fill my information out, I took blurry photos of my cards because why can't you just scan it in person? Anyways finished check in and was asked for my insurance card. Thank god we don't need to go here often. Every time, the wait is ridiculous even though I have an appointment. Maybe don't take appointments every 10 minutes if you only have 1 Dr.

I came in yesterday and was given a diagnosis. I mentioned the side effect I'm experiencing yesterday. The medication prescribed doesn't treat the complication. I called today and was told that they changed EMR's today and therefore the person in charge had no access to those notes. So now, I am waiting and being charged again. I am going to file a complaint. (Also, I brought in the paperwork and he just dismissed it.)

This place is a joke. I made an appt and arrived early. 1 person in the waiting room and they took me back right away, no one else in rooms. I just wanted a strep test. Nurse took the swab right away. Then let the wait begin. I waited. And waited. And waited. Doc locked her head in "oh wrong room" and went to other patients that arrived after me (rooms were empty when I arrived besides a male and I heard female voices).
