4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but could have been great if tangle free cord was tangle free Replaced my old aquabot turbo classic finally. Bought a Dolphin Premier and it was HORRIBLE!!! Returned it and got the Polaris instead. Also bought the ultra fine filter bag (I highly recommend it). The one bad part is that the tangle free cord is anything but. It has a swivel but somehow ends up hopelessly tangled after every single cycle. Other than that it works great.

My pool is surrounded by nature so it gets pretty dirty in the fall, or after thunderstorms. This robot has done an EXCELLENT work at picking up all the leaves and even small branches.

The first was whatever the pool company gave us, it was bare bones and only cleaned the bottom marginally. The 2nd was similar to the polaris but died less than 3 weeks in, returned that promptly. Didn't clean the whole pool, missed spots, couldn't climb the walls...etc..So went on the search for a newer model and I wanted it to be able to control it remotely, so if I wanted it to focus on a particular area, I could instruct the robot to do that. Very happy with the Polaris. So far so good Very user friendly. Does a great job cleaning the entire pool, it finds stuff that can’t even be seen from looking into the pool. I was very overwhelmed when making the decision to buy a robot pool vacuum and this one was recommended by a friend. I almost went with the dolphin because of the mapping the pool feature but the Polaris cleans everything thoroughly despite not having that feature on this model.
