I like the cleaner but I am a little disappointed in the fact that it does not do the steps in the pool very well.

Robotic cleaners have a difficult time with steps and benches, as they can’t tell if it’s the top of the pool. We recommend regular brushing of the steps, and once the debris is dislodged, the cleaner can take care of it at the bottom or sides of the pool. The Polaris pool cleaner is working great ! I have used it for about 15 times thus far and it is very thorough in cleaning our 20K gallon vinyl in-ground pool. I've had numerous robots/cleaning gadgets in the past and none have lasted very long. So, I am glad about the 3 year warranty and am going overboard making sure the Polaris is taken care of when I use it. Expensive but there was a good discount at the time of purchase.

The ALPHA IQ+ is easy to operate and convenient to use. This pool cleaner has improved the quality of my pool water and saves me time. The on-board filter is easy to access and remove, and the filter can be rinsed and reinstalled quickly. The ALPHA IQ+ allows me to spend my time doing other things rather than manually vacuuming my pool, and lets me know when it is finished through my phone. Great product!
