I compare this Polaris 8520 pool cleaner to our old Dolphin S200 cleaner. Does a great job cleaning the pool, hit the floors and walls and waterline. It is to clean and you can also summon it to come to the surface to clean it.

Nicknamed Frederick, this robot vacuum was a huge improvement over the one I purchased in 2002. I love the way he works, I love how easy he is to clean , and the operation is easy. My pool is rectangular, sloping from 3’ to 7.5’ - the shallow end gets almost 100% clean; the deep end has a bit of sand in the corners and edges. Frequent swimming has helped a bit, but the corners still a minor concern. (I live close enough to a Great Lake that sand is prevalent.)

Great pool machine. The good: Climbs the walls and steps and quickly cleans all debris on the bottom. The Bad: The cord constantly needs to untangled and the basket is a little small.
