Polaris EPIC 8520 robotic cleaner
It runs fairly well. It can't get up the walls in the shallow end, seeing it is 90° angle. I find the Lift System instructions confusing. So far, it does an adequate job.

I purchased this robotic pool cleaner to replace a Polaris cleaner that I had for about 12 years, that was starting to have some issues. I purchased this cleaner based on my good experience with the previous Polaris product and the fact that I was hoping I could use the caddy from my old cleaner. This unit cleans the bottom of the pool really well and it works well up the sides. However it does not do well in the valleys where two slopes meet coming up from the bottom of the pool to the sides.

I’m worried about the quality of this product . It feels flimsy. Im especially concerned about the quality if the robot connector pins. They are literally pin size. It remains to Be seen if this product will last beyond the two year warranty which is really one year in Canada due to our 6 month season.

Great improvement for this model compared to the previous version (although it was a great product already). Quick, easy to use and clean, do a great job cleaning efficiently the pool for the next drop!

So far so good, in most spots. It doesn’t capture all the fine debris that collects along the slopes in my deep end and it doesn’t seem to climb the deep end walls as well as it does in the shallow end. Aside from that, our larger pool is cleaned in 2 2hr cycles and I can easily clean the basket, wind the cord and put it away. It does a much better job than my old pool filter based vacuum

Wish I would have bought it sooner. It does a fantastic job cleaning our large pool and is so easy to maintain and operate.
