Lasted only 12 months I bought this product which is significantly more expensive as a cheaper one failed. It worked fine until it split open in just under a year. I would expect that it should last longer.

OEM Polaris Back-up Valve Kit OEM Polaris Back-up Valve Kit, was the real deal. OEM Part. Was delivered ASAP. Mine old one split. All of a sudden my pool sweeper, went on it's side, up on two wheels. This was the correct part for the fix.

Do Yourself a Favor - Buy Genuine Polaris Parts I've seen some of the other reviews that claim this is not an OEM part. After wasting way too much time with three cheap, non-OEM replacements, I was determined to be done messing around with this "project". I visited a local Polaris dealer and found the backup valve in stock. What was shipped to me from this Amazon store was EXACTLTY the same part.I can't say with certainty if this is the exactly the same part that comes with the original kit.
