Polaris 280 Great product
Woks great. This was a replacement for our old 360 model. It was very easy to install and worked perfectly right out of the box. I rated the suction power based strictly on how well it cleans since there is no way to actually measure it or compare it to other cleaners. I think it's a bit pricey, but if it lasts as long as our old one it's worth it.
That it cleans walls and steps along with everything else! I had a kreepy krawly before this and this blows the kreepy one out of the pool! This pool sweep is awesome! It climbs my rectangular pool’s walls and even cleans the steps! I had an algae problem prior to this because my old sweep didn’t move the water enough! Now I save tons of money on chlorine because this sweep moves around so much! My pool is beautiful and I am thrilled because of this Polaris sweep!!!
Very Good Pool Cleaner We've used the Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 for many years. It was finally time to replace and we find it is still a highly recommended model. We purchased from Save More On Pool Supplies at a good price. Unfortunately the wheel was damaged in shipment but the company responded quickly with good communication and we were able to return and get a full refund. We will buy again!
Power Works fine, adequate power
An older design but still does excellent work! Would buy again The Polaris model 280 is an older design pool cleaner, but one which has proven its value and durability for many years. Comes out of the box ready to install and works effectively and well. This is my third unit, the others lasted from 10 to 15 years. Its easy to service and easy to repair, but it does require a booster pump to operate. My pool is 25000 gallons and its picks up debris and leaves quite well. Polaris makes the best pool cleaners We like it so far. On in for a couple weeks and it’s working great. We love Polaris. Bought another brand last time and suffered through a few years of it. Finally replaced with a Polaris. We’re told this model was better than the newer ones so we went with it. Doing a nice job so far!
replaced old one just like it - works well the hose to the cleaner keeps coming off - but overall it works excellent
