Had a prior Polaris 280 and it was on its last legs after 10 years. New one does an outstanding job of cleaning the pool, even picking up fine debris. Very happy to have a brand new 280 in the pool.

My first 280 lasted about 10 years but this summer finally gave up and started running in circles, so on the advice of my pool builder I bought the same (tho apparently upgraded) model rather than one of the more expensive units on offer. The new 280 is the same champ as the old, scurrying around 3 hours a day keeping the pool liner pristine. Great product and good value.
