Does a great job
Right out of the box it was easy to install and within an hour it had my pool looking great! I love that the bag is designed to keep the debris contained inside when the booster pump turns off (though it does make it harder to clean the bag out entirely). This is so powerful it picked up twigs with leaves attached, items I would have normally had to fish out with the skimmer net. Love my new Polaris!
This is the second one I’ve owned and have always been pleased with the performance of this pool cleaner. The first one I had I purchased in 1997 and it was a good one but I do like the current design better.

Purchase via Amazon was seamless with a very quick delivery. Setting up the Polaris was quick and easy, everything needed was included in the box. I had the unit connected and running in less than 30 mins. The Polaris 280 had my pool clean (following 3 months of cleaning neglect) after a couple of hours. Completely satisified......
I have not been satisfied with thee Pool Cleaner so far. Part of the problem could have been the pool guy who installed it, but there are little things that annoy me. The cleaner tends to get stuck in areas of the pool, and there are areas of the pool where the cleaner is not going. I was told it would go over steps as well. Haven't seen it clean the steps at all.
I have only had it for 4 weeks but it sometimes gets stuck in the corner of the pool. One time the “tail” got stuck between the drive wheels. Other than that seems to work ok so far.
The ordering process was professional and very customer service friendly. My product arrived as advertised. It was easy to set up and activate. If there were any issues, there was a step by step video URL included (welcome surprise) on how to properly connect your device and set it to perfect functionality. Great experience all around.
