The 280 is the best cleaner on the market in my opinion It is low maintenance runs for years and does a great job cleaning the bottom and sides of the pool. If you lose a contact lens in the pool it will find it for you in no time without any damage to the lens I only run mine every third day and my pool stays sparkling. George A. centre Al.

Our old Polaris was 13 years old and had clocked untold miles around our pool when she just couldn’t go anymore. We bought the new 280 expecting a comparable experience. This new Polaris puts our old one to shame! The three wheel design seems to add to its agility to climb the walls and climb the steps. And we really like the in-line filter. Couldn’t be happier!!

The Polaris 280 cleaner is replacement for same model we bought 15+ years ago when built inground pool. Works as expected, expect years of service and if ever needs repair, the local pool company can work on it, doesnt have to be sent off like robotics cleaners.

Pool cleaner works great and does a fantastic job of picking up smaller debris. The only issue I have is that the hose keeps getting tangled which prevents the cleaner from reaching a small part of the far end of the pool. I followed the instructions on cutting the hose to match the size of my pool, but I am still having this issue.

I ordered a Polaris from Amazon and it arrived, but with only one of the three wheels attached, and it was not the drive wheel. The other two wheels were in a sealed bag with other parts, but looked like there was a piece broken off of each one. I contacted Polaris and they said that it should arrive with all three wheels attached. So I returned it to Amazon who fully refunded me. Had no idea how worn out our previous pool car was! The new one was easy to install & does a great job cleaning the pool. The sweeping “tail” is great!
